The Filming Day
We spent the day at TCW head office with a film crew, cameras and lights set up around the building, recording the interviews that would become our corporate film. It was the first time we had put the company on camera in this way, and the point was simple: let the people who build and run TCW explain what it is for, in their own words.
The crew moved between setups through the day — an interview corner for each speaker, a camera position for every angle — while the rest of the team carried on working around the shoot. The result is a film that introduces TCW without leaning on a script written by someone outside the business.
Ian Woolsey on What Comes Next
Ian Woolsey, our Chief Operating Officer, was first under the spotlight. His interview looks outward rather than inward: what the future looks like for TCW, how the platform is expected to develop, and what the operational side of the business has to get right for that future to hold.
It is the perspective a customer is most likely to need — not what the technology promises, but how it is delivered, supported and improved week after week.
Ben Ford on the Technology
Ben Ford, our Chief Technology Officer, covered all things technical: how the platform is put together, how compliance documents are handled once they arrive, and what has to be true for a certificate to be trusted rather than simply stored.
His interview is the section for anyone who wants to know what is actually happening behind the interface — the engineering decisions that decide whether a system gives you evidence or only reassurance.
Ryan Dempsey on Where It Started
Ryan Dempsey, our Chief Executive Officer, took centre stage for the interview on the inception of TCW — how the idea formed, the problem it was written against, and why independent validation of compliance documents mattered enough to build a company around.
It is the origin story behind everything else in the film, and the clearest explanation of why TCW was never positioned as another place to file paperwork.
Molly, the Office Dog
No filming day at head office is complete without Molly, our office dog, who made it her business to be in every room the camera entered and clearly did not intend to be left out of the final cut.
The Finished Film
The finished film was produced with Paul Furlong MCIM at Opus Media, and you can watch it on this page — the interviews, the office and the dog, all in one short film.

If you are reviewing your current systems, ask:
- Could the people who run your compliance function explain what it does, on camera, without a script?
- Does your introduction to your own system come from the people who build it?
