The Sector Gathers at HOMES UK
This year's much awaited HOMES UK brought together thousands of housing professionals from housing associations, local authorities, funders, housebuilders and the wider built environment to discuss, share new ideas and learn from each other as we all work to build a stronger sector — with housing at the heart of the UK recovery.
Events like this matter. The challenges facing housing providers — from compliance assurance to resident safety — are not solved in isolation, and HOMES UK creates the space where the sector can compare notes, challenge thinking and take practical ideas back to their organisations.
Raising the BAR in Compliance
TCW was exhibiting across the two days, and on 23 November our Chief Executive Ryan Dempsey took to the Knowledge Theatre to present 'Raising the BAR in Compliance'.
In the presentation, Ryan showcased why TCW is leading the way in data and risk management across ALL compliance areas. The session focused on data structuring, trend analysis, asset management, risk and safety predictions and lifecycle insights — the building blocks of turning raw compliance data into decisions organisations can act on with confidence.
The Most Dangerous Phrase
At the heart of Ryan's presentation was a challenge to the room: the most dangerous phrase in any organisation is “We've always done it this way”. If we don't change the process, we don't change the outcome!
Groundbreaking technology increases safety, decreases risk and provides complete assurance. It gives us the ability to collate and gather insight from all our data points, creating the much-needed transparency that keeps residents safe and gives boards and regulators a real-world picture of compliance.
Thank You — and Let's Keep Talking
It was great to speak with so many people over the two days. If you want to discuss how TCW can help your organisation — along with the 1.2 million social housing homes already benefiting from our innovative technology — please reach out at info@TCWin.co.uk.
